  • Is rigid core vinyl flooring waterproof? +

    Rigid core vinyl flooring is waterproof by design, which is one of its defining advantages over standard vinyl. Audacity builds on that with a high-density, proprietary rigid core, a tight-lock click system, and patented finishes that keep moisture out. 

  • What is rigid core flooring, and how is it different from standard vinyl? +

    Rigid core flooring is a type of luxury vinyl plank (LVP) built around a solid, high-density core instead of a flexible one. That rigid core gives it far greater dimensional stability, so it resists the denting, heat reaction, and subfloor telegraphing that can show through thinner, flexible vinyl. Audacity’s rigid core is engineered for that stability across large open spaces. 

  • What's the difference between SPC and WPC flooring? +

    SPC flooring (stone-polymer composite) has a denser, harder core for exceptional stability, while WPC flooring (wood-polymer composite) uses a lighter core for a softer, warmer feel underfoot. SPC prioritizes durability; WPC prioritizes comfort. Audacity’s rigid core collections are available in both.

  • How long does rigid core flooring last? +

    With normal household care, rigid core flooring is built to last for many years. Audacity’s rigid core flooring is backed by residential and commercial warranties, with up to a lifetime residential warranty on select collections.
